Venturing into the forest in search of antidote ingredients, Loneal falls prey to an attack by a mysterious hooded man. Fortunately, Alec comes to his rescue just in the nick of time. However, unsettling words from the mysterious assailant suggest that, in his previous life, Loneal might have been considered an enemy of the prince. Disturbed by this revelation, Loneal realizes he has lost the necklace gifted by Alec and, amidst the pouring rain, returns to the forest alone. Loneal is discovered by the concerned Alec. In a comforting gesture, Alec tenderly embraces Loneal, bringing warmth to his chilled heart and body.
